Hi, I'm Meliza.

For a long time, I didn’t feel safe in my own body.
I was always bracing—tense, reactive, anxious.
Even with years of therapy and “wellness,” I still felt stuck.

It took me a while to understand that I wasn’t broken. I was dysregulated. And my nervous system was doing everything it could to protect me.
When I started learning about trauma, stress, and the nervous system, everything began to click. The patterns I couldn’t think my way out of? They weren’t mindset problems—they were survival responses living in my body. That realization changed the course of my life.
I began rewiring my patterns through nervous system education, somatic practices, breathwork, and deep self-inquiry. Slowly, I came back to myself.
My work now is an extension of that journey.
I created WORTHY Self-Care Studio and WORTHY Breath & Body because we all deserve spaces where healing is relational, not performative. Where self-care is embodied, not aesthetic. Where nervous system literacy is just as important as nutrition or exercise.

Your Nervous System Is the Pattern

We often think stress is about our thoughts or mindset. But what if what you’re feeling isn’t in your head—it’s in your nervous system?
Your nervous system stores your life experiences. From childhood survival patterns to daily overwhelm, it wires how you respond to pressure, people, and pain.
When your system is regulated, you can move through life with more ease. When it’s dysregulated, you may feel stuck, reactive, exhausted, or numb.

This is the foundation of my work—helping you understand your patterns, feel safe in your body again, and build the capacity to respond rather than react.

Nervous system literacy isn’t just self-awareness—it’s self-liberation.

What Dysregulation Looks Like

Dysregulation doesn’t always look dramatic.
Sometimes, it looks like being “fine” on the outside—but constantly tense, shut down, or overstimulated inside.

You might feel:

  • Anxious or on edge for no clear reason
  • Burnt out, but unable to rest
  • Disconnected from your emotions or body
  • Stuck in cycles of overworking, people-pleasing, or shutting down
  • Physically inflamed—digestive issues, migraines, chronic pain
These aren’t personality flaws. They’re signals from a system that’s been stuck in survival mode.

My method helps you understand and gently repattern these responses using somatic tools, science-backed education, and practical support.
