About Meliza Mokrani

Hi, I’m Meliza. For years, I didn’t feel safe in my own body. Even after decades of “doing the work”—therapy, wellness trends, personal development—I still felt stuck in patterns I couldn’t shake. I was tense, reactive, overwhelmed. I thought something was wrong with me.
But what I came to learn is that I wasn’t broken. I was dysregulated.
My nervous system was doing exactly what it was designed to do: protect me. I had lived most of my life in a constant state of hypervigilance—what science calls sympathetic overdrive or “fight-or-flight.”
It wasn’t until I began understanding trauma, stress physiology, and somatics that everything clicked. My survival responses weren’t mindset problems. They were body-based patterns—deeply wired in my nervous system. And slowly, with the help of somatic practices, breathwork, nervous system education, and daily rituals of self-inquiry, I began to reset. I began to remember the calm that had always lived inside me.

A Space for Collective Healing

My work today is an extension of that journey. As a trauma-informed coach, nervous system educator, and the founder of WORTHY Self-Care Studio and WORTHY Breath & Body, my mission is simple: to make healing accessible, embodied, and rooted in compassion.
WORTHY exists because I believe nervous system regulation is not a luxury—it’s a human right. Just like brushing your teeth or taking a shower, nervous system hygiene is a daily necessity. And yet, so many of the tools that changed my life—sauna, red light therapy, cold plunging, lymphatic drainage, breathwork—are often financially or culturally out of reach.
That’s why we created WORTHY as a sanctuary. A space that’s not performative, but relational. Not about appearances, but embodiment. Where you can come as you are, and start where you are. Where healing doesn’t happen in isolation, but in community.

Our Ethos: Healing for All

After my mother passed away, I began to reflect on why wellness—something so essential—felt so inaccessible. I’d found modalities that were life-saving, but I couldn’t shake the question: Why are the people who need healing the most often the last to receive it?

That question became my mission.
Through our nonprofit arm, the WORTHY Wellness Initiative, we offer sliding scale memberships and fully subsidized care for qualifying members of our community. Because everyone—regardless of income, background, or identity—is born WORTHY of good health, calm, joy, and care.

This Is an Invitation

Whether you’re here for 1:1 coaching, signing up for Regulate & Rise, or walking through the doors of the studio—we begin the same way: with compassion. With science-backed support. With real practices that fit into real lives.

You don’t need more self-improvement. You need self-remembrance.
This is your invitation to soften, reset, and reconnect with the part of you that’s already whole. We rise together—and I’d be honored to walk with you.
